There is an amazing organization out there called Wish Upon A Wedding, who is the first wedding wish granting organization with chapters starting across the country (St. Louis coming soon).   The non-profit grants wishes for weddings to individuals facing terminal illness, giving those couples the chance to marry their soul mate during this difficult time.

The first couple that has gotten their wish granted is Florence and Michael.  They are getting married on March 13th, and you can just tell how much they love each other.   It is so important to have that rock  as a support when you are going through a difficult time, and Michael and Florence are definitely that to each other.   The above pictures were taken by Stella Sweet Photography, one of the wish granters for Florence and Michael’s beautiful wedding.  I am so happy for Florence and Michael, and will be sending big prayers out to them as Florence continues to fight her battle with cancer.

I love this industry because of the vendor partnerships and friends I have made, as well as the amazing couples that I have had a chance to work with.  Watching each couple’s love grow and being a part of their special day where their lives are officially joined as one, I can’t help but be extremely happy and lucky that I was there as a witness to that day.   And with this non-profit organization, vendors like myself have a chance to give back to couples who are way deserving of  having that wedding where their lives are joined together .    For more information on Wish Upon A Wedding or how to get involved, please check their site here.
