Well Wishes Trees
Written By Katie
One of my best guy friends from High School got married this past weekend at the Old Cathedral and their reception was at the Top of the Met. It was an incredibly beautiful wedding, and I’m glad I got to help out a little bit plus enjoy it as a guest as well! One of my favorite things from their reception was the well wishes tree that stood at the entrance of the reception.
Such a fun idea in lieu of a guestbook. Each of the tags had a cute stamp on the bottom with plenty of writing space on the top for each guests to leave their well wishes for the bride and groom. You can put each of these in a scrapbook after the wedding as a reminder of those that were a part of your special day and their notes to you both. And it does not take many materials to make a tree like this at your reception. For the above, it was a vase with branches and marbles to weight the branches down, colored pens to write with, and plenty of paper tags for the guests to use.
Another beautiful well wishes tree inspiration courtesy of Here Comes the Guide is below. I love the garland they added between the branches and the dual base for the branches. Well Wishes trees provide such an amazing centerpiece for your reception that is sure to have everyone talking!

Love this idea. I featured that second tree on the blog a while back and it got a lot of great feedback. It doesn’t fit well with our wedding, but it’s such a practical idea!
