Invitation Monday
Written By Katie
Envelope liners are my absolute favorite thing to dress up any invitation. There are so many different colors and patterns of papers available that you can truly find anything that matches your style and personality. It also helps introduce a fun pattern to your paper goods that you can tie into various other elements like menus, table numbers, escort cards, and so much more. The liner is basically like an unexpected surprise when they open up the envelopes, and with templates to help you shape them for your envelope, you really can’t go wrong. One thing to note is that these are a weekend project in themselves. It takes some time to get the template cutting mastered and then you must assemble them all. I would recommend having an assembly party with your closest girlfriends so you can help get them all done quickly!

These invitations are definitely one of the most creative uses of a liner I have seen! When the guests open the envelope, each one said “you’re invited” or RSVP on the open envelope for them to reply back with. I have to admit, if I got that in the mail, I’d probably have to keep it… I’m such a Paper nerd that I would want that for my examples to show brides & grooms just what you can do!
