Andrea + Chad
Written By Jaci
They say a little rain is good luck on your wedding day, so how much luck does torrential downpours equal? Over Labor Day weekend, the city saw remnants of Hurricane Isaac roll through town, and along with it a sweep of bad storms. During their rehearsal on Friday evening a monsoon raged outside, but Andrea and Chad were relaxed and hopeful a break in the weather would come for them to sneak a few outdoor pictures in. They were anxious to show off the city they so love to their family and friends who had traveled far to share their special day with them, and luckily Mother Nature was on their side and gave them just that.
Every wedding tells a story, and their uniqueness was the talented and musical group of friends they surrounded themselves with. Many of their friends became their wedding day vendors, and the outpouring of love was tremendous.
Let’s start with our couple’s first look, followed by a special moment of the couple sharing their love for music:
Cheery bouquets kept the mood bright on this rainy day, and although it drizzled a little during pictures, luckily the rain stayed away for the most part for some formals outside.
Not only does the City Museum offer unique event spaces, but it also boasts several photo opportunities for couples.
And lastly, remember how we mentioned those very talented friends as vendors? Check out this amazing cake designed by their close friend…
